most of the value comes from the AI agent simply inferring more signal from messy text compared to the signal in a rule-based parser
This article feels like it’s just laid the groundwork for justifying many of the agentic apps being built. As someone building an app hinging on using “messy text” as the primary input I find this research encouraging.
